Welcome to Viron Japan Academy
In January 2024, Viron marked a significant milestone by launching the first Viron Japan academy in Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka. This initiative brought educational opportunities to 65 students, signaling Viron's commitment to expanding its reach and fostering learning beyond its traditional borders. The academy's establishment highlights a growing interest in Japanese education and skills within the Sri Lankan community.
Building upon the success of its inaugural academy, Viron expanded its educational footprint in Sri Lanka. In April 2024, the organization opened its second branch in Kandy, welcoming 45 students. This expansion demonstrates Viron's rapid growth and its dedication to providing educational opportunities to a wider student base across Sri Lanka, following the January launch in Minuwangoda.
Viron's expansion continued at a rapid pace in 2024. Following the establishment of branches in Minuwangoda and Kandy, the organization launched its third branch in Dambulla in May. This new location welcomed 38 students, further extending Viron's reach and commitment to providing educational opportunities across Sri Lanka. The consistent growth, from January's initial academy to the May opening, highlights Viron's dedication to its mission.
In a significant enhancement of its educational program, Viron announced in November 2024 the assignment of native Japanese professional coaches to all of its Sri Lankan branches. This strategic move, impacting the Minuwangoda, Kandy, and Dambulla locations, aims to provide students with authentic exposure to Japanese culture and improve their spoken Japanese skills. By bringing in native speakers, Viron seeks to elevate the quality of its instruction and create a more immersive learning experience for its growing student body.
