Examination Structure

The SSW examination consists of two parts:

• Practical Test – 20 minutes
  Evaluates hands-on skills related to automotive maintenance
• Written Test – 60 minutes
  Assesses technical knowledge and understanding of the field

The practical test is conducted first, followed by the written examination. All examination materials are prepared and managed by the Japan-side authorities.

What Examinees Must Bring

• HB or B pencil (or equivalent mechanical pencil)
• Eraser
• Original government-issued photo ID
• Copy of the Examination Application Form
• A watch (alarm disabled)

Failure to meet these requirements may result in disqualification on the examination day.
