On 12th January 2026, VIRON Japan Academy proudly hosted its Graduation and New Batch Enrolment Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in our mission to empower Sri Lankan youth to build successful careers in Japan.

The event was a grand success, bringing together students, parents, staff members, and distinguished guests from both Sri Lanka and Japan.

Outstanding Student Participation

This memorable program celebrated several major achievements across our academy:

• Over 300 students enrolled for the new intake
• Around 100 students successfully completed their courses
• 30 interview-passed students received their certificates
• Students represented all VIRON Japan Academy branches:
  • Minuwangoda
  • Kandy
  • Dambulla
  • Polonnaruwa
  • Galle

These achievements highlight the dedication, discipline, and determination of our students, as well as the commitment of our academic and support teams.

Distinguished Guests and Official Recognition

We were honored to welcome our CEO from Japan, along with four other special guests from Japan, whose presence strengthened the bond between Sri Lanka and Japan.

We were also privileged to have the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) as a chief guest. His participation added great value to the event and reaffirmed the credibility and recognition of VIRON Japan Academy in guiding students toward overseas employment opportunities.

Special Cultural Highlight: Live Japanese Kanji Drawing

One of the most inspiring moments of the ceremony was a live Japanese Kanji drawing session conducted by our Japanese guests. This session beautifully showcased the elegance of Japanese language, culture, and calligraphy.

The guests explained the meanings behind the Kanji characters while demonstrating the correct writing techniques. Students and attendees were deeply impressed, as this activity allowed them to experience authentic Japanese culture firsthand. The Kanji artwork created during the event added a unique and memorable cultural dimension to the program.

Established in 2024 in Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka, VIRON Japan Academy began its journey during a challenging period. Through dedication, strong leadership, and trust from students and parents, the academy has grown into a multi-branch institution serving students across the country.

Today, VIRON Japan Academy stands as a trusted name in Japanese language education and overseas career guidance.
